Tadeusz Kościuszko fought for the freedom of two nations – the foundation named after him has been connecting them for a hundred years. The Kosciuszko Foundation at 15 East 65th Street on the Upper East Side awards over 2 million dollars annually in scholarships and grants. A gallery of Polish art, concerts, academic exchanges, and cultural programs – it is the largest center of Polish culture in North America.
