Caregiver jobs for HHA/PCA applicants in NYC and Nassau County
L & G Home Care Agency in Rego Park is looking for caregivers to help seniors with everyday life. The agency recruits Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA), offering competitive pay and flexible work hours. Staff speak Polish, English and Russian.

Caregiver responsibilities
- Meal preparation and cooking.
- Helping with personal care, including bathing, dressing and hygiene.
- Light housekeeping.
- Reminding the client to take their medication on time.
- Helping with feeding and other everyday tasks.
- Conversation and companionship.
- Transportation to and from doctors’ appointments or arranging telemedicine appointments.
- Running errands or arranging grocery delivery.
Documents needed for registration
The agency lists an unexpired NYS ID and Social Security card, both originals. Applicants also need a PCA/HHA certificate and two reference letters: one personal and one professional. If you do not have a certificate, L & G Home Care Agency will provide and pay for schooling.
The advertisement also lists a physical examination and laboratory work completed within eight months before applying. Confirm the current examination and vaccination requirements and how to provide documents directly with the agency.
Retention bonus
Employees who complete two consecutive months of employment may receive a $100 retention bonus, subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of the agency’s Retention Bonus Program.
